A forum focusing on environmental themes in films and documentaries took place on Monday during the 31st College Student Film Festival in Beijing.

The forum, jointly held by the College Student Film Festival and the SEE Conservation, aims to encourage young filmmakers, especially university students, to create films and documentaries that highlight environment issues and promote environmental awareness.

The forum also introduced a special initiative called the "Rediscovery Project." It encourages university students to direct their attention to environmental protection and sustainable development through the lens of their cameras. In addition, a channel was set up to gather and collect short firms and videos that focus on environmental issues.

At the forum, industry experts and professionals from the fields of film and environmental protection also engaged in in-depth discussions on how to tell good stories about environmental protection through film.
