The 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2024), taking place in a venue of 220,000 square meters, kicked off on Thursday in Beijing. The 10-day event will run through May 4, and include the debut of 117 new car models.

This year's Auto China, themed "New Era, New Cars," showcases an array of vehicle innovations. A number of new energy vehicle brands like Li Auto, Avita, and Skyworth are set to make their inaugural appearance at the exhibition.

Numerous globally premiered new vehicles are on display. At the Mercedes-Benz exhibition area, the pioneering all-electric off-road vehicle, the G580 with EQ Technology, which just had its global debut on Wednesday, has promptly made its way to the Auto China booth. The German automaker aims to leverage this exhibition platform to engage with the public.

Moreover, leading companies in the industry chain, including chip and battery manufacturers, are set to unveil their latest products and solutions at the automotive parts exhibition, showcasing their cutting-edge technologies to the public.

Featuring exhibits of nearly 500 renowned domestic and international component and high-tech firms from 13 countries and regions across the world, the show will offer visitors opportunities to witness the rapid development of the new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industries.
