On May 9th, the Luohu International Innovation Exchange and Digitalization Special Session was held in Shanghai. The event, themed around smart technology, aimed to explore the development direction and application prospects of smart innovation, with a focus on building a sustainable development ecosystem for smart industries. Over 50 multinational corporations, investment institutions, and technology enterprises were invited to participate.

At the beginning of the meeting, Feng Jian, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Luohu District Committee and deputy district mayor of the Luohu District, extended a warm welcome to the entrepreneurs present and invited high-quality overseas enterprises to join hands with Luohu to share the development opportunities of the Greater Bay Area.

The event featured presentations by the Luohu District Science, Technology, Industry and Information Technology Bureau on the industrial foundation, development advantages, and investment opportunities in Luohu, particularly in the field of smart innovation. This provided attending enterprises with a comprehensive understanding of Luohu's key industries and investment opportunities.

Additionally, globally renowned smart innovation service company, ThoughtWorks, shared insights on the trends in AI and smart development, offering valuable experiences for the development of attendees' smart initiatives.

During the roundtable discussions, prominent multinational enterprises and investment institutions delved into innovative practices in the field of smart innovation, covering various sectors such as food, health, transportation, and Internet of Things. Seven high-tech enterprises specializing in smart technology solutions also participated, providing platforms for technical and business cooperation.

In the subsequent networking session, representatives from government and enterprises discussed cooperation needs, the strategic layout of the Greater Bay Area, and international innovation collaboration, exploring feasible paths and innovative measures for cooperation between overseas enterprises and Luohu.

Looking ahead, Luohu will continue to focus on technological innovation, increase support for smart innovation, and promote the convergence of resources towards smart innovation enterprises. The district will also enhance support in areas such as industrial space, talent policies, business incubation services, innovation capability enhancement, market promotion, and science and technology financial services. These efforts aim to establish Luohu as a preferred gateway for foreign companies entering China.
