Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River is located in Yichuan County in Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is the second biggest waterfall in China after Huangguoshu Waterfall. Yan'an is a prefecture-level city in Shaanxi Province in northwest China. It was near the endpoint of the Long March, and became the center of the Chinese Anti-Japanese War (1937-1945) and China's War of Liberation (1945-1949).
