The following is a biographical sketch of Li Jinhua, who was elected vice-chairman of the 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC):

Li Jinhua

Male, born in July 1943, of Han nationality, native of Rudong, Jiangsu Province. Finished postgraduate study at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee.

Vice-chairman of the 11th CPPCC National Committee and member of its Leading Party Members' Group, auditor-general of the National Audit Office (NAO) and member of its Leading Party Members' Group.

Joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 1965.

Studied at the Department of Finance of the Central Institute of Finance and Banking in 1962-1966 and graduated in 1966.

Stayed at the school for job assignment in 1966-1968.

Taught at the Department of Finance and Banking of the Northwest Institute of Finance and Economics in 1968-1971.

Accountant, head of the accounting office and deputy secretary of CPC branch of No. 15 workshop at No. 572 Factory under the Ministry of Aviation in 1971-1975.

Deputy director of the political department of No. 572 Factory under the Ministry of Aviation in 1975-1980.

Deputy secretary of CPC committee of No. 572 Factory under the Ministry of Aviation in 1980-1983.

Head of No. 572 Factory under the Ministry of Aviation and studied at the Party School of CPC Central Committee in 1983-1985.
