Last year, Deng Yaping put forward a proposal, focusing on this years' Asian Games being held in Guangzhou. 


Deng Yaping is one of the greatest Chinese table tennis players. At the 1992 Olympics in Spain's Barcelona, she won gold medals in both the singles and doubles competitions and repeated the feat at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.

After retiring at the end of the 1997 season, Deng Yaping served on the International Olympic Committee's ethics and athletes commissions.

Last year, Deng Yaping put forward a proposal, focusing on this years' Asian Games being held in Guangzhou.
