People from all walks of life are focusing their attention on the two sessions. They are showing great interest in issues directly linked to their everyday life. They are expecting both sessions to bring concrete benefits.

Chen Shengwang is a migrant worker in Beijing. He has changed jobs several times over the past few years. He hopes that the two sessions take people like him into account.

Chen said, "I am interested in issues such as the employment of migrant workers like me. I have had some difficulty in finding jobs. I also care about social insurance, our benefits package, and other things relevant to my life."

68-year-old Zhang Dongyan has her own concerns.

Zhang Dongyan, Beijing resident, said, "I spend 500 to 600 yuan on medicines every month, about half of my monthly pension. I can't afford expensive medical expenses. I hope that the two sessions can deal with this so that things can improve in the future."

Like many other people, Chen Yongling wants to know what is going to be done about housing prices during the two sessions.

Chen Yongling, Beijing resident, said, "The current housing market is too high. We can't afford even a small apartment with our salary. My child has reached the age of marriage. He can't afford anything, even with a mortgage. We hope the two sessions can help address this problem."
