The public has shown plenty of interest in issues discussed at the two sessions during the past 12 days. Many hope their concerns will be addressed and their lives can be further improved. Let's hear what people have to say.

Local Resident, Beijing, "I care most about the issue of housing. Prices are too high. Even housing labeled "affordable" is too expensive for low to medium wage earners."

Local Resident, Beijing, "Many senior citizens at our community have medical problems. The process of reimbursing their health care expenses is slow and many cannot get their money back quickly enough."

Local Resident, Beijing, "I hope that our nation will continue developing in an all-round way and enjoy great improvement in finance, international relations, people's livelihoods and many other aspects."

Rural issues are still the top concern for many migrant workers.

Local Resident, Beijing, "I am concerned about the interest of farmers. China is a large agricultural country, but the income of farmers is low. Something should be done to solve this problem."

Local Resident, Beijing, "I hope farmers' lives will continue to improve in the future. It has improved in my home town in Henan, where many children of farmers receive free schooling."

Now the sessions have closed, public attention turns to policies and how they will improve people's well being.
