HK foreign currency reserve assets up in March

Hong Kong's official foreign currency reserve assets amounted to 316.8 billion U.S. dollars at the end of March, up 9 billion U.S. dollars from one month earlier, the city's Monetary Authority said Monday.

The reserve assets represented more than seven times the currency in circulation or about 49 percent of Hong Kong dollar M3, according to the authority. Endi
