Zhao Hongzhu, born in July 1947, is a male ethnic Han from Ningcheng, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He entered the workforce in October 1965, joined the CPC in August 1969, and received a college education at the Central Party School.

He is currently a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, deputy secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
