An 80-year-old volunteer has given directions and other assistance to some 10,000 travelers outside the railway station in Shijiazhuang, capital of Hebei Province, Yanzhao Evening News reported.

Over the last three years, Wang Yiying has stood there with a bag of local maps and guidebooks.

He points out the way to the city's hospitals, shops and bus stops, every morning.

He's collected more than 6,000 signatures from people he has helped. He says it makes him happy to help people this way.
