A woman in Chongqing Municipality has offered a 1,000-yuan (US$146) reward to help find a missing cat, Chongqing Commercial Daily reported.

Li posted an online article asking for information about the cat, which she discovered stray a year ago.

"I worked in Shanghai and I liked to feed stray cats there. I found the missing cat when she was pregnant and, because I will go abroad to study, I took the cat back to Chongqing and asked my parents to take care of her. If any one helps me to find the missing cat, I will offer 1,000 yuan as a reward," Li said in her article.
