Adjust font size:

A villager hopes to make it into the Guinness World Records for using mahjongs to build a 3-m-high tower in Xiangtan County, Hunan Province, Xiaoxiang Morning Post reported.

It took more than a week for Peng Shuyan, a farmer from Yijiashan village of Jiangshe town, to construct the tower with 2,800 mahjongs.

Peng, who has been practicing his skill of piling up mahjongs now for eight years, often performs this in public.

He can also construct other types of buildings using mahjongs.
