An elderly man in Heyang county, Shaanxi Province, was recently arrested for stealing 2,000 kg of apples for his girlfriend last year.

The woman, surnamed Wang, asked Mu, 70, a farmer for some apples and Mu went to an orchard near his village with another man surnamed Li.

They took the apples from the orchard owner, locked him in a room, and left with his mobile phone.
