A man has trained 85 cats to guard his grain depot in Panjing, Liaoning Province, from rats.

Liu Jiangguo, 47, spent two years training the cats, which guard his depot round the clock.

"They are ruthless, my cats. Rats don't have the courage to enter my booth now," Liu said.
