Two Drug Suspects Nabbed in Macao

The Macao police have nabbed two suspects for allegedly taking drugs at a hotel room in the city center, local media reported Tuesday.

The Macao Post Daily quoted police sources as saying that 12 Yaba pills and a small number of "ice" were seized on the spot during the raid conducted on late Monday.

Yaba is a sort of tablets which comprise methamphetamine and caffeine.

The two suspects, aged 42 and 20 respectively, hold the Chinese mainland travel documents, the sources were cited by the newspaper.

The police carried out the raid on the tip-off offered by the hotel staff, it reported.

Further investigations are under way, according to the newspaper.
