Free Secondary Schooling for Hebei Orphans

Hebei City Vocational School, a technical secondary school in north China's Hebei Province, provides education free of charge for orphans in the province.

In 2006 the school began accepting orphan students, who had no source of income, and today has more than 100 such pupils, Xinhua reported.

Orphans are exempt from paying tuition and accommodation fees, which are paid by the government, the school and sponsors from the society.

Students are learning subjects including computer science, electronics and other majors.
