Adjust font size:

Six fishermen were missing after their boat capsized off the coast of eastern Fujian Province in the wee hours of Friday, said the provincial fishery authorities on Sunday.

The authorities said 11 people were on board when the boat capsized in the sea near Fujian and southern Guangdong Province. All of them fell into water. Other boats nearby saved five people but six others are still missing.

Rescuers recovered a body by 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, not sure if it was one of the missing people.

Rescue operation continues and investigation into the cause has begun.
