Search for five missing sailors continues in E China

Rescuers continued searching for the five missing sailors on Wednesday after a vessel sank off east China's Zhejiang Province on Tuesday.

Rescuers extended the search area on Wednesday but they had not found the missing sailors, according to the maritime authorities of Wenzhou.

The Panama-registered vessel named "Helios 3" sank on Monday afternoon off Wenzhou. Nine sailors were rescued. One body was found at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday. The dead has been identified as the vessel captain from the Republic of Korea.

The vessel was shipping 6,000 tons of wood from Burma to Jiaxing Port in Zhejiang, with sailors from Korea, Burma and Indonesia,

The cause of the capsizal was still being investigated.
