Police of Beijing and Moscow to enhance cooperation

Ma Zhenchuan, director of the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, met in Moscow on Wednesday with Moscow police chief Vladimir Pronin, seeking to enhance communication and cooperation among the police of the two capitals.

The police of Beijing and Moscow have carried out friendly and pragmatic cooperation since they signed a communication protocol in 1998.

The two sides have kept frequent exchanges in police affairs and learnt from each other in security management for major events.

During the Beijing Olympics, police of the two capitals cooperated with each other in an active, pragmatic and efficient way, yielding fruitful achievements.

Both sides are committed to expanding communication and pushing forward their cooperative relations.

Ma attended a concert celebrating the 10th anniversary of the signing of the communication protocol on Wednesday evening.
