ARATS to have new chief

The mainland-based Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) convened a meeting on Tuesday. A new ARATS chief will be announced at the meeting.

Wang Yi, who replaced Chen Yunlin as head of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and Taiwan Work Office of the the Communist Party of China Central Committee, delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.
