In the afternoon, a police group arrived at Xiangji to investigate the morning violence.

Although the detained journalists managed to leave Xiangji at around 4:00 p.m., one tape of the violence scene was still kept by Xiangji.

Altogether three journalists and two police officers were hurt in the violence, Guangxi TV said.
