Two children were among four people killed when a car and a motorcycle crashed in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on Saturday, an official with the regional education department said Sunday.

The accident occurred near a primary school and two parents and two pupils died at the scene, the official said, giving no other details.

The car driver, Jiang Fulin, headmaster of Quanzhou Second Middle School in Quanzhou County of Guangxi, was the only person in the vehicle when the accident happened, the official said.
