Jets land on China's 1st aircraft carrier
China has moved closer to its goal of building a blue-water navy, with pilots successfully landing on and taking off from the Liaoning, the country's first aircraft carrier, according to military experts.

The Liaoning (辽宁舰) is China's first aircraft carrier. It was delivered and commissioned to the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army at a ceremony held in Dalian Port, Liaoning Province, on Sept. 25, 2012.(More)Key facts and figures
