The People's Bank of China has issued a set of commemorative coins to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the end of World War II.

The front side of the coins features the national emblem to announce that the victory is commemorated in the name of the nation while the other side features the year "2015".

Meanwhile, the State Post Bureau of China will issue a set of stamps on September 3 for the anniversary event.

The set will have 13 stamps and one souvenir sheet.

The stamps will display historical relics and the major museums and memorial sites associated with the war.
