Bidding farewell to military service
Adjust font size:

Some 1,000 demobilized veterans of the Armed Police Heilongjiang Contingent bid farewell to the armed police barracks with tears in their eyes, as shown in the picture, and embarked on a new journey of life with gains in their military career.

On December 3, at the ceremony of bidding farewell to the military barracks of a motor battalion of a unit under the Jinan Military Area Command, the veterans who would be soon demobilized couldn't help weeping tears when their cap badge and shoulder mark were taken down.

December 3 was the day for the demobilized veterans of a unit under the Nanjing Military Area Command stationed in Fujian Province to leave the military barracks. The veterans were reluctant to bid farewell to the military barracks which nurtured them, their closely associated comrades-in-arms and beloved green military uniforms.

On December 3, when the veterans of a unit stationed in the Tibet Autonomous Region were demobilized, the Tibetan old aunt came with her family to present the white hada to the veterans.
