Cao Zongyong, a resident of Guojielou, a village in devastated Wenchuan County, opened an Internet cafe in a tent this week, Web site newssc.org reported.

The shabby cafe was warmly welcome by local residents for providing with a connection to the outside world.

Telecommunication in the region has been unstable since the May 12 earthquake.
