More than 160 news photos depicting disaster relief scenes from the May 12th earthquake are now on display at Beijing's National Library of China.

The press photos record the fight waged by the earthquake victims against the natural disaster as well as the national and international assistance, China News Service reported on Wednesday.

The photo exhibition will last from June 2nd to the 20th.

As of Tuesday at noon, the 8.0-magnitude quake that was centered in southwestern China's Sichuan Province took the lives of 69,107 people.
