Policewomen become outriders for Olympics

A team of 11 policewomen from Beijing will work as outriders during the upcoming Olympics, Xinhua News Agency reported on Tuesday.

Riding on motorcycles, they will lead the relative vehicles while patrolling on streets together with their male colleges.

The policewomen, ranging in age from 25 to 37, have taken special training in Beijing People's Police College since May to be proficient motorcycle drivers.
