400,000 flowery lanterns at Nanjing Lanterns Fair

A baby amazes at myriad of elaborate and formatively-innovated flowery lanterns on the Spring Festival Lanterns Fair, at the Confucius Temple Spring Festival Fair, in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, Jan. 28, 2009. Some 400,000 variegated hand-made flowery lanterns in over 30 categories, among them the vivific shapes of lotus, pineapple, lion, etc, are of particular appeal to kids and their young parents to cultivate their percipients for the traditional handicrafts.
