Thailand's weekly cabinet meeting Tuesday approved the Thai Foreign Ministry's proposed donation for the quake-affected people in China's Qinghai province.

The proposed donation is valued at 100,000 U.S dollars, or equivalent to 3,200,000 Thai baht, said Supachai Bhosu, deputy spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, the National News Bureau of Thailand reported.

The 7.1-magnitude quake had so far left 2,046 people dead, 193 missing and 12,135 injured.
