The third Asian Beach Games (ABG) will be held in Haiyang, Shandong province, next year from June 16-22.
The games includes 13 sports and 49 events and athletes from 45 countries and regions of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) will participate in.
Biyearly Asian Beach Games, one of the five major sports games in Asia along with the Asian Games, are a multi-sport event.
The first Games was in 2008 in Bali, Indonesia. China finished third. China placed second in Muscat, Oman in 2010.
