Statistics show that tourist resorts in Linyi city, Shandong province, hosted 1.85 million visitors during the three-day Labor Day holiday, up 11.3 percent compared to the same period of last year.
Self-drive holiday account for 50 percent of the visitors' choices to visit the city over the three-day holiday, according to statistics.
The car parks of key scenic areas were filled to full capacity.
