China (Liaocheng) International Forum of Building of Ecological Civilization kicks off in Liaocheng, Shandong province, on Oct. 10.
The forum attracted over 200 domestic and overseas experts and scholars in environmental protection and ecological research.
The theme of the forum is industrial and ecological civilization of green, low carbon, cycle and rapid development.
The forum also affirmed the achievement scored by Liaocheng in recent years.
Located on a plain, the city is thickly peopled, and its self repairing capability of ecological environment is low. Therefore, the city is blazing a new trail to industrialization featuring good economic returns, low resources consumption, and little environmental pollution.
