An artist gives a final touch-up to the largest stone carving to debut in Zichuan district, Zibo city, Shandong province. Four artists spent over two months sculpturing the work, which is 2.1 meters high, 1.1 meters wide, and 0.75 meters thick. Five carving techniques have been used, including circular caving, openwork carving, through carving, bass-relief and line cutting. The creators have applied for their work to obtain entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.
