Asia’s largest meadow-form lake wetland, the Weishan Lake Wetland Park, located in Jining ,Shandong, has recently opened up to the public.

The wetland park project is a large-scale commonweal ecological project which integrates wetland preservation, popular science education and ecological tourism. The total planning area of the park covers some 150 thousand hectares.

Weishan Lake National Wetland Park has extended a touristic chain along Weishan Lake, offered preferable protection for the quality of the lake and restored the ecological functions and integrity of the ecological system of the wetland.
