Shandong Artists Association and Shandong Oil Painting Society jointly organized a realist-style oil painting exhibition from July 6 to 8 in the provincial museum, in order to celebrate the Tenth China Art Festival.

More than 100 oil paintings from over 30 outstanding or veteran oil painters were exhibited.

The provincial realistic-style oil painting has exerted great influences, throughout the country, since the 1980s.

For more than 30 years, provincial oil painters continuously developed the concept of realistic-style oil painting, tracing academic line.
