The China Art Festival is a prestigious art and cultural display, held in China every two years. The festival's first edition was held in Beijing in 1987.

The 10th China Art Festival will be held in Heze, Shandong province in October. Apart from entertaining visitors, with colorful cultural activities, the Heze Municipal Government also takes this art festival as an important opportunity to develop the local cultural industry and promote the construction of a cultural center.

The Heze Municipal Government has sped up construction of culture-related facilities for public use, including a city library and museum. Additionally, it has launched several cultural projects to enrich people's lives and promote tourism. Heze is famous for its peonies, traditional opera, martial arts, painting and calligraphy, and folk art. The development of tourism in Heze looks promising.
