5.2 billion yuan turnover caps Zibo Ceramics Expo

The 13th China (Zibo) International Ceramics Expo came to a close on September 10, along with the end of the 12th China (Zibo) New Material Tech Forum and 2013 Shandong Industry-University-Research Cooperation Exhibition.

New Material Tech Forum invited 352 Chinese and foreign experts. More than 1100 Zibo enterprises matched 2154 items, signing 617 technical cooperation projects. Academicians and experts solved 82 problems for enterprises, boosting a 5.1 billion yuan investment in high-tech projects.

The ceramic expo attracted 16 companies and 43 masters in ceramics from around the world. The quantity and quality of exhibitors from other cities and the level of exhibits certainly hit a new high. During the exhibition, around 170 thousand visitors created the total turnover of 5.22 billion yuan, with on-site transactions worth 2.18 billion yuan.

A total of 257 Industry-University-Research Cooperation items were signed at the expo, with a total investment of 16.5 billion yuan. The expo agreed 2.1 billion yuan would go into technology development and 340 million yuan into technology transfer.
