Heze features two new wetland parks

The overall planning scheme of two wetland parks in Heze City, Shandong Province, has recently sailed through its provincial appraisal, according to the city's forestry authorities.

With an investment of 270 million yuan (US$44.47 million), Dongshunhe Wetland Park in Shan County and Wanfuhe Wetland Park will become two new provincial wetland parks in the city.

Covering a total planning scheme area of 766.5 hectares, the Dongshunhe park will be completed in 7 years, combining a cultural exhibition, science education, wetland experience and recreation and health-building.

Covering a total planning scheme area of 1,437.8 hectares, the Wanfuhe park will feature 52.9 percent wetland.
