Shandong recently released 21 new regulations to improve its business environment. The reform of the industrial and commercial registration system has benefited entrepreneurs, but at the same time requires more responsibilities on their part.

The new rules require a spot check system for the public information of enterprises which will release the results on the market credit information system.

Enterprises which didn't publish their annual reports to the public and are not able to contact through their registered information will be written down as "abnormal." If they do not turn this around within three years, they will never return to a normal status

If enterprises include serious illegal activities such as providing false information or having their licenses revoked, they will be blacklisted and put under special supervision.

Meanwhile, the enterprise residences will be strictly managed. Enterprises operating with illegal constructions or unauthorized changes to housing property will be dealt with according to the law.

After that, Shandong will regulate network commodities trading and hit monopoly agreements as well as crack down on illegal activities, including commercial bribery, contract fraud and pyramid schemes.
