The Shandong delegation submitted 61 proposals and 304 suggestions to the Second Session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) by 12:00 p.m. on March 9, the deadline for proposal submission.

Their proposals reflected in-depth social issues and contained both comprehensive as well as extensive suggestions. Most proposals are related to major ongoing issues in the economic and social development and comprehensive reform of our country.

In addition, their proposals include different aspects of economy, politics, society, culture and environmental protection, as well as aspects of people's livelihood such as food safety, vocational education and modern agricultural development.

Most proposals are to enact and amend the law. They are based on in-depth research, featuring abundant information and sufficient analysis which will play an important role in promoting works across the area.
