No fundamental damages on CNPC business in quake-hit region

The earthquake did not cause fundamental damages on PetroChina's operations in quake-hit region, said Jiang Jiemin, President of PetroChina, the listed subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) on Thursday.

Jiang said that a natural gas well with a production capacity of 6 million cubic meters per day were halted in the earthquake, but it is partly restored so far with a daily output of 2 million cubic meters.

No death of CNPC's employees was reported so far, but 56 injured and 6still missing
