Japanese rescuers arrive in Sichuan

A team of 31 Japanese emergency workers arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport at about 9:25 pm on May 15, 2008. This is the first foreign search and rescue team accepted by Beijing. The disaster relief team, with search dogs, firefighters and police, as well as members of the Japan Coast Guard and the Japan International Cooperation Agency, arrived in Chengdu early Friday.
