As England's Ali Carter beat Marco Fu of Chinese Hong Kong 5-3 in the final of the 2008 Huangshan Cup Snooker All-star Game, mainland ace Ding Junhui, ranking third, donates all game bonus to the disaster relief against China's worst earthquake in decades.

Carter added the first two frames in the afternoon with 92-34 and 66-0 while Fu pulled the next two frames back. In the sixth frame, Fu stunned the audience with a single-break of 139, setting the score at 3-3. However, Fu lost to Carter in the last two frames.

Ding, winning the third place, donates all his game bonus, which totals 150,000 yuan (about 20,000 U.S. dollars), to the quake-hit areas in southwest China's Sichuan Province after the award ceremony.

"I learnt from TV that people in the quake-hit areas suffered a lot. Many parents died and left behind their children. I hope they will soon get well," said Ding. "I hope all children can live their future happily and healthily."

The 8.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Sichuan at 2:28 p.m. on Monday. By 2:00 p.m. Sunday, 32,477 people were confirmed dead in the country's most destructive quake since 1949.
