Materials urgently needed for earthquake victims in Chengdu

On May 17, Chengdu anti-earthquake headquarters announced that, in order to re-establish sanitation and prevent any possible epidemics, clear up rubble, and assist victims in aftercare quickly and efficiently, specific materials were needed to help people in quake-stricken areas get back on their feet and lead normal lives.

The following items are urgently needed in quake-hit areas: 80 tank cars, 1200 traveling toilets, 15 porta-potties, 30 trucks for water treatment, 20 garbage trucks, 5000 waste bins, 50 street sweeping trucks and 80 trucks for transporting waste.
