To the people of China- I do not speak or write Chinese and it is my greatest hope that this will be translated. Writing all the way from the US, no politics... only a hearfelt expression of sympathy.

I cannot pretend to know how deep your grief and suffering is right now. I can only say that my heart cries with yours. Pictures and stories across the world wide web have brought you all to live in my heart and I am so, SO sorry for the pain you're going through.

I wish you well, my friends across the world. I wish you strength and courage, peace and healing. Please know that you are all in my thoughts. My heart cries with you.
