May 27, 2008. Villagers were preparing to evacuate for fear of possible flooding should Tangjiangshan quake lake near Beichuan burst its banks.  The lake was formed by landslides that blocked a river known as the Jianhe after the May 12 earthquake in Sichuan Province.
