The government disaster relief fund for China's quake-stricken areas had reached 23.215 billion yuan (3.34 billion U.S. dollars) as of Friday noon, according to the Information Office of the State Council.

The fund included 18.699 billion yuan from the central budget and 4.516 billion yuan from the local budget, the office said.
