3. Based on the current information, major symptoms of the novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia are fever, coughing, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Experts say that unlike the cold or flu, the diagnose of the novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia is to a large extent based on the epidemiological history of the patient. So when in doubt, go to see a doctor and mention your recent travel history or any close contact with the coronavirus infected patient.

目前处在流感高发季节，如何区分普通感冒、流感和新型肺炎？国家卫建委专家表示，三者症状有别——
1. 普通感冒症状常出现鼻塞，有时会出现1-3天的低中度发烧。普通感冒一般比较少出现全身性症状；
2. 流行性感冒一般伴有发热症状，并且为3-5天的明显高热症状。此外流感常常伴有全身肌肉酸痛、乏力等全身性症状；
3. 新冠肺炎目前观察来看，主要症状有发热、咳嗽、呕吐和腹泻等。
专家表示，和普通感冒不一样，流感和新冠肺炎的诊断很大程度参考流行病学史，因此如果怀疑自己为疑似病例就医，一定要如实提供病史。
